More interesting things to come soon… I’m working on prints and books and paintings on acetate that are so very exciting.

Sketchbook pages.

Continuing an obsession, I think.

Inky sketchbook things.

You can’t catch crows.

They’re all edges

and claws

and sleek slippery feathers.

Today I drew my couch. I do live a most exciting existence, I know (…Ok, I’ll shutup, I love what I get to do with my time).

Bloom.
I am shameless in my love of corvids.

I never shared the actual book before. This is the sketchbook I’ve been drawing in the last couple of months, though I finished it on the weekend. I’ve made a new one now.

This one contains little references to people and parts of my life from summer - there’s some cider cardboard and flowers belonging to my housemates, paper I made with a friend from old essays, material from garage sales with my family and some other bits and pieces of op shop trips. Collage can be nice like that, unexpectedly squashing the things you love together.

It spun
Into sun

The sky is pouring rain and light right now. I’m following the sun around the dining room floor with a cup of tea and a laptop.
This is just a sketch from a few days ago. I’d forgotten how much I adore digital painting.
